NLP CAN HELP YOU PERSUADE MORE EFFECTIVELY AND CLOSE SALES

There is so much power in the ability of words to influence behaviour.  Knowledge of NLP can improve so many areas of your life from your sense of wellbing to your success and achievements.  Within an organisation, this knowledge can also improve sales, negotiating skills and teamwork.

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming, a phase that doesn’t easily mean much to most people. “Neuro” is refers to neurological process, “linguistic” to language and “programming” to learned behavioural patterns.   NLP was created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s and is an approach to psychotherapy, communication and personal development. 

Many behavioural change techniques have developed out of NLP.  These techniques are usually quick and very effective, which is why they have a place in personal development.  The focus on language has has also resulted in some very transformational questioning models used in coaching.

In business, knowledge of NLP can be extremely effective in sales, negotiations, leadership, and managing stress and anxiety.
